Coastal Academy
Do you have a bright student who learns differently? Does your student struggle in traditional learning environments because of ADHD, executive functioning deficits, dyslexia or other learning disabilities? Is your student intellectually gifted or twice exceptional and not being challenged to reach his or her full potential? Would your child thrive in a small educational setting with the support of experienced educators who specialize in teaching students just like yours? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Coastal Academy could be the right choice for your child!
Coastal Academy is a microschool serving students in 4th-8th grades. Our vision is to provide innovative educational opportunities for diverse learners, including gifted students and students with learning challenges that have prevented them from thriving in a traditional classroom setting.
*Please note that we are not currently equipped to work with students who have severe cognitive/intellectual, physical, or emotional/behavioral disabilities that may require intensive 1-1 instruction, nursing/medical, or counseling services.
